Like the additional poster said, first you need to draw up a contract that describes just what the 10 of you plot to do and what rights you all have. You don’t need to have a lawyer do this, but using a lawyer may help. Then, you need to go and file a Fictitious Affair Name or Doing Affair As Statement with your County Clerk or Secretary of Disorder, depending on where you are. Then, you can take that declaration to a bank and open a bank account in the name of your affair.

You have to go with something you know. When you start a affair you should have some knowledge or experience in whatever endeavor you choose. It is not a time to be learning the basics of a affair. More often than not, no matter what you choose or how proficient and capable you are, the first year in affair can be extremely hard and stressful. It will take a lot of your time and money to get it off the ground. One type of affair you should stay away from (unless you have a special talent for it) is the restaurant affair. In a populated area it is hard to throw a marble without hitting a restaurant. So competition is brutal. If you can provide a needed service that is the way to go. This avoids having to buy a lot of merchandise to stock and sell. If possible avoid having to hire workers at least for the first 6 months or so. This greatly increases your paperwork and accounting. Payroll taxes, workman’s compensation insurance, workman’s compensation contribution (which most people are not aware of) benefits, paid holidays etc. Just a few thoughts. Excellent luck to you.
